PORT ST. LUCIE – On Sunday, 78 South Florida PGA Prep Tour Members Competed at PGA Golf Club’s Wannamaker Course in a one-day, 18-hole event.
Dylan Schilling of Port St. Lucie, who practices out of PGA Golf Club, showed his comfort on his home course by carding a bogey-free front nine and four total birdies. His three-under 69 was enough to win the Boy’s 11-12 division.
Joining Schilling with a score under par, Jaxson Weese of Sebastian fired off seven birdies on his way to a four-under 68, enough to win his third consecutive Prep Tour title in the Boy’s 13-18 division.
Securing a third consecutive victory of her own, Stella Ronja Lind of Doral wrapped play with a four-over, 76, one shot ahead of Harper Kiss (77) to claim the Girl’s 11-12 title.
In the Boy’s 9-10 division, Palmer Buchanan of Port St. Lucie birdied the par-5 first hole to set the tone for his day, finishing at two-over 74, one stroke ahead of Linus Castro and Atlas Andrews.
Playing in just her second Prep Tour event of the 2023 season, Elisa Hernandez of Parkland won the Girl’s 13-18 title with a three-over, 75.
