CLERMONT, Fla. — Dylan Schilling continued a strong stretch of play this past weekend, earning a six-shot victory at the USKG Teen Series event at Legends Golf & Country Club.

The 15-year-old posted rounds of 67 and 73 on the par-72 layout to capture the 15–18 division, building on a run of solid finishes over the past few weeks.

The two-day event, held May 2–3, 2026, brought together junior players from across the region to compete on the par-72 layout, a course known for its elevation changes and demanding design.

Schilling wasted no time separating himself from the field.

During Saturday’s opening round, he caught fire on the back nine, rattling off four consecutive birdies in a stretch that effectively broke the tournament open. The run showcased both scoring ability and composure—traits that have become increasingly consistent in his game over the past month.

“I just stayed aggressive and trusted what I’ve been working on,” Schilling said. “Once a couple putts started to fall, everything kind of clicked.”

That early cushion proved critical on Sunday.

With winds shifting and picking up across the property, scoring conditions stiffened considerably in the final round. Where many players struggled to maintain position, Schilling leaned on a different part of his game—grit.

Time and again, he converted key par putts from beyond five feet, preventing any momentum swings and keeping the field at arm’s length.

“Today was all about patience,” he said. “The wind made it tough to attack, so it came down to staying steady and making those par saves when I needed them.”

At just 15 years old competing in the 15–18 age group, Schilling’s six-shot victory not only highlights his ability to close but also signals a player trending upward at the right time.

The win follows a strong three-week stretch on the Florida State Golf Association circuit, where he recorded a top-5 and a top-3 finish on the Florida Junior Tour—results that are beginning to stack into a compelling season narrative.

With confidence building and results following, Schilling is quickly establishing himself as one of the more in-form junior players in South Florida—and a name to watch as the summer schedule intensifies.
